Jess O'Garr

Clinical Psychologist

Director

I have an interest in BPD, Complex Trauma, PTSD and Occupational Trauma, Burnout and Distress. I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist for over 10 years and have a decade of experience running groups and working with adult survivors of childhood trauma as well as occupational trauma such as with police and military. I have a Skills before Pills approach to help clients to take control of their recovery to improve their lives. I take a structured approach to treatment so you have a clear vision of your own journey to recovery.


My treatment modalities include:

Schema & Schema Mode therapy, CBT, DBT and EMDR.

 

I provide clinical supervision and mentoring to psychologists and

clinical psychology registrars.

Jay Sankey

Clinical Psychologist



I am a dedicated and empathetic clinical psychologist with a passion for supporting clients facing various mental health challenges, including Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Trauma and Personality Disorders. I have experience in working with police and the military. I have a particular interest in supporting adults afflicted with PTSD and Occupational Trauma, as well as Adjustment Disorder, Burnout and Distress. With over 7 years experience in the field I have demonstrated expertise in providing evidence-based treatment and psychological assessment to empower clients to lead a meaningful life.


My treatment modalities include:

CBT and EMDR.

 

I also offer clinical supervision, guiding and mentoring aspiring psychologists in their clinical Training.

Nicole Hewitt

Senior Psychologist


I am a compassionate and dedicated senior psychologist with over 15 years experience. I believe in a collaborative, compassionate and non-judgemental approach when working with clients and have extensive experience working with adults dealing with a range of mental health conditions. This includes addictions, mood disorders, anxiety-related disorders such as PTSD, OCD and adjustment issues. In addition, I have considerable experience supporting clients with trauma, occupational trauma and other work-related stress. I have also worked with emergency service workers and the military. 


I have a particular interest in supporting adults managing substance abuse and issues with addiction, understanding that substance abuse is often a coping mechanism for managing emotional pain and distress. By tailoring sessions to each individual’s values, interests, strengths, and goals, I provide personalised support to foster growth and healing. 


My treatment modalities include: CBT, ACT and EMDR.

I provide supervision and mentoring to Psychologists and Provisional Psychologists.

Psychologist



I value being an authentic, enthusiastic and compassionate psychologist who aims to guide and empower clients to make the changes that they want to see in their lives. I have experience in both individual and group therapy. I have a particular interest in supporting adults with Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders and Trauma. I integrate various evidence-based treatments and use a multidisciplinary, client centred approach to help clients meet their therapy goals.

 

My treatment modalities include: Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR).

 

I am also a board-approved supervisor.

Psychologist

I am a passionate clinical psychology registrar dedicated to empowering individuals to work toward their goals, harnessing their existing strengths and using evidence-based practices. I have experience working with adults in both inpatient and outpatient group settings, with a focus on Mood, Anxiety, Distress Management and individual Trauma Processing. Using a client-centred approach, I aim to offer compassionate support with a focus on committed action.
